Greetings Theatre Patrons!

The Nolensville Theatre department is anticipating another great year for the arts. Our growing department has AMAZING student talent. Theatre is not just for actors. NHS students are learning the fine art of directing, set design, costuming, crew, lighting, sound, and stage management. In addition to these work skills, being a part of the cast and crew cultivates comradery, team effort, and a strong work ethic that they will hold dear for years to come.

This year, patrons can look forward to 3 major theatre productions, state and national competition performances, senior directed One-Acts, and community engagement events during the holidays. NHS theatre also collaborates with the music, culinary, and media departments throughout the year.

The advanced theatre students have won TTA state competition titles 2 years in a row, which therefore advances them to the SETC national competition. This competition provides once in a lifetime high school experiences for our students and allows colleges from all over the country to recruit their talent. These competitions are a vital part of their education and theatre experience and must be fully funded by the students. The first graduating class of NHS seniors was awarded with high level scholarships as a product of the wonderful NHS theatre program.

Our ongoing success is dependent on parents, community, and patrons of the arts. Theatre funding is vital to the program and all funds are raised by the students and for the students. Supporting theatre fine arts can be accomplished in many ways throughout the year. Please join our Facebook page, Nolensville High School Theatre Committee, to stay up to date on upcoming performances, fundraisers, theatre camps, silent auctions, and how your business can purchase ads during our show season.

If you are interested in offering financial support, good show ads, or business sponsorships, please contact Theatre Fundraising at ptso4theatrefundraising@gmail.com . Please also support by volunteering!! We need more volunteers for ongoing support of the department and to participate on our committee.

We can’t wait to see what this cast and crew will accomplish this year! Please contact me for any questions you have, or about becoming more involved with our fun crew! We thank you for your continued support.

See you at the show!!
